The I Ching (Book of Changes) is an ancient Chinese divination text and philosophical work dating back over 3,000 years. It is based on 64 hexagrams—combinations of six broken or unbroken lines—each representing different universal principles, natural cycles, and life situations. Used for guidance and decision-making, the I Ching provides wisdom through interpretation of these hexagrams, often consulted by casting yarrow stalks or coins. It has influenced Confucianism, Daoism, and Western philosophy, offering insights into change, balance, and the interconnectedness of all things.

The I Ching Cards have been supplemented with colour. This adds a further dimension to the interpretation. Colour personalities refer to the idea that different colours are associated with specific personality traits and emotions. This concept is often used in psychology, branding, and personal development. These associations are often used in colour psychology to understand emotions, influence behaviour, and enhance personal or professional environments.

I have created a set of 64 cards which combine the I Ching Hexagrams with associated personality colours. On the face of the cards are the hexagrams with associated personality colours and on the back of the card is an explanation of the meaning.

The full set of cards comprises 64 Hexagram Cards, 8 Trigram Cards and a Booklet giving further explanation of the meaning of each Trigram and associated colours. Please email me if you are interested to purchase.
